We strongly recommend it! While the CGM device is water resistant and sweat resistant, the waterproof patch provided in your January Kit gives an extra level of protection to make sure that the device stays in place over the next 14 days. Simply place the patch directly over your CGM and you’re good to go. If it starts to peel off after a couple showers, simply peel it off and replace it with a new one.
