Although the CGM has a small needle, most people don’t feel more than a slight pinch when inserting it. Once applied, the needle no longer stays in your arm (it’s only used to insert microfilament that measures interstitial fluid to monitor your glucose levels) and most users do not notice the CGM. For more information about applying or wearing the CGM, please refer to Abbott’s website.

If you are concerned about your health at any time based on the CGM readings, please contact your primary care physician or urgent care immediately. If, for any reason, a medical professional instructs you to remove the device, please do so, then contact our support team for additional help.
