For the Abbott FreeStyle Libre 14-day system, it can be removed after 14 days of wearing one sensor. Removing the sensor is as simple as removing a patch from the skin and should not hurt.
The Season of Me program lasts for 30 days, so you will need 2x Abbott Freestyle Libre 14-day sensors to complete the program and change sensors half-way through. Your app will notify you to change the sensors.
If you need to remove your sensor earlier, in case of skin irritations or for any other reason you want to quit the program, you can always quit and simply remove the CGM. Similar to a patch, you can remove it from the skin. If you quit the program earlier and have any questions, please contact us at support@january.ai.
If you are concerned about your health at any time based on the CGM readings, please contact your primary care physician or urgent care immediately. If, for any reason, a medical professional instructs you to remove the device, please do so, then contact our support team for additional help.
